Your registration obligations:

In order to purchase the services on you have to register your data on our website.

In using the service, you declare that you provide real, accurate, updated and complete information about you.

If we consider this obligation has not been fulfilled, we reserve the right to block your access to using the service, for a limited or unlimited period of time, without any prior notification.

Your personal data may be sent to the competent authorities in order to verify the commercial transactions or to other competent authorities for any verification provided by law.

The data provided by the clients is strictly confidential. The Association IDEA undertakes not to provide this data to third parties, individuals or companies, and to use it strictly for the purpose of the business relation between the client and the Association IDEA.

This website uses security measures against the loss, alteration or improper use of the information under our control.

Personal data processing

The Association IDEA is registered in the Personal Data Operators Registry under number 22488/19.12.2013.

The personal data categories processed are: last and first names, telephone/fax, address, e-mail, profession, affiliation, professional training.

According to the Law no. 677/2001 for the protection of the persons as concerns the personal data processing and the free circulation of this data, as amended, to the Law no. 506/2004 concerning the personal data processing and the protection of private life in the electronic communications sector and to the GEO no.13/2012 for the modification and completion of the Law no. 506/2004 concerning the personal data processing and the protection of private life in the electronic communication sector, the Association IDEA has the obligation to process the personal data provided by the Client in security conditions and only for the specified purposes.

According to the provisions of the Law no. 677/200, our clients have the following rights:

1)  Right to information (art.12)

2)  Right of access to data (art.13) – right to obtain, upon request and free of charge, for one request per year, the confirmation that the data concerning them is processed by the data operator or not.

3)  Right to intervention (art.14) – right to request the data operator, through a written request and free of charge, the following:

    a)  rectification, update, block or deletion of the incomplete, inaccurate data or of illegally processed data;

    b)  transformation of the illegal personal data into anonymous data;

    c)  notification of the third parties as concern the operations provided under the letters a) and b).

4)  Right to opposition (art.15) – the right to oppose, free of charge, through a written request, for solid and legitimate reasons related to their particular situation, for the data concerning them to be object of processing.

The completion by the Client of the forms on the website is equivalent to the unconditional acceptance for this data to be included in the database of the Association IDEE and to be used and processed by the Association IDEA, its affiliates and collaborators.

When a client creates an account on,he/she receives commercial communications from us only if he/she expressly accepts this, selecting the corresponding option.

The refusal to provide this data renders the supply of services impossible.

The deletion of the personal data of a client from the database takes place based on his written request, sent electronically. The final deletion of the personal data from the database shall be confirmed to the client.

The Association IDEA does not request its Clients, by any means of communication (telephone/e-mail, etc.), to provide confidential information, data concerning bank accounts, personal passwords, etc. If the Client discloses such information to third parties, he shall bear the full responsibility for his/her actions.


Access to the website

The Association IDEA guarantees the user limited access, for personal interest, to the website, and does not entitle him/her to download or partially or wholly modify the website, to reproduce the website wholly or in part, to copy, sell/resell or exploit the website in any other manner, for commercial purposes or for purposes which are contrary to the interest of the Association IDEA, without its prior written consent.


The indicated prices include VAT.

The price indicated in the invoice is the same as presented on the website upon completing the operation.

Payment of the services

The payment of the ordered services may be made:

a) online using a card, in full security conditions, upon making the order. The cards accepted for payment are VISA (Classic and Electron) and MASTERCARD (including Maestro)

b) payment by Bank Transfer/depositing in the account.

The Association IDEA may refuse an Order further to a prior notification sent to the Client, without any obligation between the parties and without any of these parties being entitled to claim damages, for the following situations:

·                     failure / invalidation of the online transaction;

·                     non-acceptance by the issuing bank of the Client’s card/of the transaction;

·                     incomplete or inaccurate data of the Client;

·                     the activity of the Client may damage the website;

·                     other objective reasons.

The clients are liable for the assessment of the accuracy, completeness and utility of the information provided within the forms available on the website.


The Conference Secretariat must be notified in writing by e-mail ( ) or fax (+40213139642) about the cancellation of the registration. Telephone cancellation will not be accepted. The appropriate refunds will be made after the Conference.

The following cancellation conditions apply:

16.03.2015 – 31.05.2015:

50% of the registration fee

Cancellations, changes and refunds for accommodation

Please inform about any amendments or cancellations in writing by e-mail. Telephone amendments will not be accepted.

Date of delivery of your written cancellation to the Congress Secretariat will be considered as the date of cancellation.

Please do not contact the hotel directly for any reservation changes or cancellations. The appropriate refunds will be made after the conference.

The following cancellation conditions apply to the cancellation or shortening of a hotel reservation:

The Conference Secretariat reserves the right to charge a handling fee of 30 EUR at any change of a hotel reservation.

In case of a no show, the room will be kept for the guest until 12 noon of the day following the date of expected arrival; then the room will be released.

Change of the arrival date has to be announced to the Conference Secretariat no later than 2 days prior the client’s arrival, otherwise one-night cancellation fee will be charged. For reservations with non-refundable rates different cancellation policy applies. 

The Conference Secretariat will process all reservation requests by 20 May, 2015 or at the registration desk on site.

Please note that for any refund we reserve the right to charge 30 EUR handling fee.


By using, viewing or selecting services on this website, the client acknowledges that the Terms and Conditions above and the any dispute that may arise between the client and the Association IDEA are governed by the Romanian laws. In case of possible disputes between the Association IDEA and its clients, their amicable settlement within minimum 30 business days shall be attempted.

If the amicable settlement is not possible, the conflict shall be settled by the competent court, according to the Romanian laws in force.


If any of the clauses above is found null or invalid, irrespective of the cause thereof, this shall not affect the validity of the other clauses. Once the order is launched, the client accepts the Terms and Conditions of Use without objections, which account for a validly concluded contract.

By agreeing with these Terms and Conditions, the client fully undertakes the rights and obligations arising from buying in the virtual shop

Where is the conference located?
The INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE MATHEMATICAL GIFTEDNESS AND CREATIVITY (MCG) – 9th EDITION will be held in Romania - Sinaia, during June 25 - 28, 2015.
The Conference venue is hotel New Montana, Sinaia, Prahova County, Romania.

What is provided in the conference registration?

Full conference and College/University Student registration includes:

How do I get to Sinaia?
•  Sinaia is situated 120 Km from the international airport Henry Coanda, Bucharest and 190 Km from the international airport of Sibiu.
Transportation from Bucharest airport to hotel and back will be provided for a 50 EUR fee.
Other means of transportation are by taxi or by train. Detailed information can be found at each airport.

Traveling to Sinaia
• Sinaia is a town and mountain resort in Prahova County, Romania and is located at about 50 kilometers northwest of Ploiesti and 50 kilometers south of Brasov in the mountainous area of the Prahova River Valley. The altitude varies from 767 to 860 m above the sea level. During summer, the temperature varies between 15°C (59°F) at night, and 25°C (77°F) at midday.

I submitted a paper, when will I hear if I have been accepted?
• The paper submission is open until February 22, 2014. Upon close of the submission period, proposals will be reviewed with notification to presenters sent up to March 15. Once accepted, final paper revisions will be due back by April 1. All presenters who did not pay the registration fee by 1st of June 2015 will have their session(s) removed from the conference program.


I am a presenter, what technology is available?
• Each room will be equipped with an LCD projector and screen, Wi-Fi access, and laptop or desktop computer. Selected rooms will have microphones. If you have additional technology needs, please send a message to contact @


Are there pre and post conference opportunities for excursions?
• On the conference site you can find 4 proposals from travel agencies. Please go to the Excursions tab for more information about the tours.
• It is also possible to rent a car for tours in Romania. We recommend  
• Close to Sinaia there are attractive touristic cities: Brasov, Bran, Rasnov, Sibiu, Sighisoara, which can be reached by train, by car, or by bus.
• You may also access the Bucegi mountain area by cable car.
